After a stroke, I chose to rise again
After a stroke, I chose to rebuild myself.
Dance became my anchor: a way to reconnect with presence, discipline, and confidence.
It was after this life changing experience that I trained at the School of Latin and Tropical Dances in Paris.
Before, I danced.
But I did not dance as a partner.
There, I learned connection, precision, and lead and follow technique.
And above all, I learned how to teach.
Dancing and teaching are two different professions
I did not just learn how to dance there. I learned how to teach.
Pedagogy, progression, posture, and transmission.
Because knowing how to dance and knowing how to make someone dance are two different professions.
Today, I support my students in Guadeloupe with a structured, precise, and deeply human approach.
We progress with method.
We gain fluidity.
We feel comfortable, without pressure and without performance.

We were searching for a unique romantic activity in Guadeloupe and discovered Nelly’s private salsa class. It was beyond our expectations. The atmosphere was warm, intimate and fun at the same time. If you’re looking for something different from the usual beach or dinner date, this is absolutely worth it.
We were looking for romantic things to do in Guadeloupe and found Nelly’s private bachata class. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Dancing together at sunset was such an intimate and unforgettable experience.
In Guadeloupe, it was easy for me to fill my days with beaches and good food, but I also wanted to experience something more personal and unforgettable. That’s exactly what Nelly’s private Caribbean dance lessons offer. I came with the idea of trying a little salsa or bachata, and I quickly realized that it was a real moment of connection. The session seemed tailor-made, suitable for beginners and guided with kindness and respect.
What I liked most was the setting and the intention. In a quiet corner of the beach and by the sea at sunset, it felt like a beautiful break in my trip, where I could reconnect with my body, share a special moment as a couple, and simply enjoy something meaningful to me. I sincerely recommend contacting Nelly for a unique activity in Guadeloupe that is both elegant and joyful.
